The Drama Team and 13 team members from the choir piled into our vehicles to reach our destination…a quaint little village called Queries. As we pulled up  a huge sign adorned the church indicating that it was for sale a year ago! Thankfully we discovered that the church was vacant but the members were now assembling at a nearby rented local church.

We were greeted by a few of the locals and their faces were beaming with excitement as we entered and searched for a seat. The pastor opened up with a few announcements and welcomed the visiting team. The worship team led us in a few worship songs and shortly after the TSC choir opened up in worship. Our team performed the drama that we had rehearsed earlier in the day.  The drama depicts the different sins and distractions that separate us from Christ even when we have a relationship with him. Although the DVD skipped (ouch) a couple of times during the drama, the message was conveyed to those who were watching. Many were touched by the drama and the testimonies that came forth afterwards.

The pastor shared with us that the youth that attended the service tonight, were first timers. After the service one of the youth shared that he indentified with the sins represented in the drama. We invited him along with the others to the Youth Rally on Friday, November 13. Although there was a small congregation we know without a doubt that hearts were reached tonight. The scripture that talks about Jesus leaving behind the 99 sheep to pursue the one that was lost was powerfully demonstrated tonight.
